Managing Payment Methods

This document takes you through the step by step process on how to manage payment methods on file in your Batchdata account.

  1. Log into your Batchdata account. Click on the gear icon on the top right corner.

  2. The click on Account Settings.

  3. Click on Payment details.

  4. In the Payment Methods section, enter your name and credit card details. Click on the checkbox to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Click on Save Card.

  5. Your card will be automatically verified for validity and added. Once done, you'll see a success notification on the top right corner of your screen.

  6. The first credit card added becomes your default (or starred) payment method for all your subsequent payments. If enter multiple credit cards as payment options in Batchdata, then you can choose to make any one of these payment methods as your default payment methods by clicking on the star icon next to your desired payment method.

  7. Once you click on the star icon, you'll be prompted to confirm that you'd like to update your default payment method. Click on Yes.

  8. Once the default payment method is updated, you'll see a success message on the top right corner of the screen.

  9. In case you'd like to remove/delete one or more payment methods on file, you may click on the trash can icon next to the payment method you'd like to remove.

  10. Once you click on the trash can icon, you'll be prompted to confirm that you'd like to remove the payment method. Click on Yes.

  11. Once the payment method is removed, you'll see a success message on the top right corner of the screen.

FAQs

  1. Are my Credit Card details safe?
    Yes, completely! Batchdata itself never saves any part of the Payment information and uses Stripe payment gateway to manage all the payment methods & payments.

  2. I'm unable add a credit card, and I keep getting error messages. What do I do?
    Please double check your credit card details, especially the expiry date & CVV. Please make sure that the name you're entering for your credit card matches the name entered while registering for the credit card with your provider. Lastly, ensure that the Zip code being entered is the same, registered with the Credit Card issuer.
