Log in to your BatchData account and click on the gear icon at the top right corner.
Then click on Account Settings.
Click on Payment Details.
In the Payment Methods section, enter your name and credit card details (please note that you need to have a Billing Address on file in order to save your credit card). Click on the checkbox to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Click on SAVE CARD.
Your card is automatically verified for validity then added to your account. Once complete, you will see a success notification at the top right corner of the screen.
The first credit card added becomes your default (or starred) payment method for your subsequent payments. If multiple credit cards are entered as payment options, you can set any one of these payment methods as your default payment method by clicking on the star icon next to the desired payment method.
Once you click on the star icon, you will be prompted to confirm that you'd like to update your default payment method. Click on Yes.
Once the default payment method is updated, you will see another success message at the top right corner of the screen.
In case you would like to remove or delete one or more payment methods on file, click on the trash icon next to the payment method you'd like to remove.
Once you click on the trash icon, you will be prompted to confirm that you'd like to remove the payment method. Click on Yes.
Once the payment method is removed, you will see a success message at the top right corner of the screen.
FAQs
Are my credit card details safe?
Yes. BatchData never saves any part of the payment information and uses a Stripe payment gateway to manage the payments and payment methods.
I'm unable add a credit card, and I keep getting error messages. What do I do?
Verify that you have a Billing Address saved. Then double check your credit card details, especially the expiry date & CVV. Please make sure that the name you're entering for your credit card matches the name entered while registering for the credit card with your provider. Lastly, ensure that the zip code being entered is the same, registered with the Credit Card issuer.
